A Glimpse into Humanitarian Work in Yemen

I Know Where I’m Going is a moving short film featuring a staff member from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Hussein Saleh, who is from Yemen, a country affected by conflict. In the 10-minute documentary film, Hussein shares some of his personal struggles, as well as how he’s able to help the ICRC carry out its humanitarian mission in his country.

We wanted to share this documentary on our blog because it does a great job of illustrating how the ICRC goes about doing its humanitarian work in a region affected by conflict, such as visiting detainees, while maintaining its neutrality.

The film is a collaboration between the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and MediaStorm. You can read more about this project on the ICRC InterCross blog.
