Photo of the Day: Summer fun in Bridgewater

Canadian Red Cross volunteers and staff from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia proudly wore their Red Cross colours as they took part in the region’s annual South Shore Exhibition Parade a few weeks ago. Volunteers put together this impressive float to represent the various Red Cross programs and services offered in their community, from short-term loans of PFDs and healthcare equipment, to the comforting blankets volunteers hand out to people affected by disasters such as house fires.
